I find it interesting how women bloggers invent pseudonyms for their boyfriends or husbands. In fact I don’t remember a single blog where someone wrote “my boyfriend” or “my husband”. Why is this I wonder? It is one of the tiny things that fascinate me, in the same manner that passengers on long-distance trains focus on the most ordinary things passing by outside the window, only because there is nothing else to occupy themselves.
I guess when I hook up with someone I’d just refer to her as “my girlfriend” in the rare occassions where I would write something about other people in my blog.

I perceive the fact you mentioned as another ‘thing’ of our times. And if you think about it, man-woman relationships have become so complex, it is of no use anymore to refer to the other person involved as ‘my boyfriend’ or ‘my girlfriend’. But what do I know? I’m still trying to figure out my frenzic ‘relationship’.
[That would work just fine in my case I think - The Passenger]

[I guess I'm tuned to a different frequency in these matters - The Passenger]
