Listening to Walter Frye’s choral pieces makes everything melt away. So much so that I struggle to focus here to write these few lines. It drags me away from the world or maybe it drags the world away. It’s the feeling you get when you step outside from a place crowded with people making noice and everything is quiet apart from the sound of the leaves caressed by a light breeze and it’s sunset and you just sit there in a bench, wanting the moment to last for ever because it’s the most unblemished experience you’ve had for such a long,long time.
